Technical issue with Karotz’ server: problem fixed
Hello,
Our team has fixed the issue encountered with our servers yesterday, which prevented your Karotz to connect to your network.
The issue was caused by a bug affecting some specific versions of linux. This bug was linked to the existence of a “leap second” this year, and it slowed down the Java processes of our servers to a crawl. Finding out about this bug took a while, but once our systems were updated, out servers restarted normally and your Karotz turned back to green!
Once again, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thank you again for your patience and understanding. See you soon for other newz!

I agree with Bruno.
I think the best move here is to make the server source available so that people can set up their own servers.
I think you’ll experience greater sales for it.
I now have 12 Nabaztags and a Karotz – and my personal nabaztag service stimulates me to dip into the healthy nab market on ebay. Open sourcing the karotz software will take the focus off of your server failures and allow people to do more innovative things with the product.
