Many Americans were marveled about Karotz. We often heard: “It’s so cute !”, “What does it do?”, “Why is it a smart rabbit?”, “Oh, really? Amazing!”, “I want one, when and where is it released?”. We were really pleased to hear that.
Ok, we had some technical problems, because we are surrounded by so many Wi-Fi connections. But we succeeded to do some demonstrations, for example with the weather forecast, the radio, the RSS feed with RFID or voice recognition.
We also showed our first version of the application “Karotz Controller” on iPhone and iPad. We change the colour of the light, send SMS or make photos of what Karotz sees.
We even haven given some interviews for website and blogs. Maybe Karotz soon will show up in the american blogosphere.
Yesterday evening we presented Karotz at the Showstoppers, which is a gala evening with journalists. Here are some photos of the event:
We also established ties with the Journal du Geek, BBC UK, Stuff, Wired and ABC News. That sounds quite promising!
